How You Can Help

Recently, the Houston area was hit with one of the worst recorded floods in national history. Our hearts are heavy with the devastation that Hurricane Harvey has left in our city and in the lives of people we love.

It's been amazing to see our community come together to serve each other, and there's still much work to be done! Check out some ways you can help below and be part of the movement to rebuild our city.

Love in Action

"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

Romans 12:9-13 NIV

Volunteering is a great way to directly meet the needs of those affected by the storm. The most pressing needs right now are volunteers who can help demo houses, supply meals for families and work crews, and provide emotional care. Your help, whether small or large, makes a lasting difference for those who have experienced loss in this storm.

Physical Labor

If you are local to the area or do not need overnight accommodations, we welcome you to serve for the day with Samaritan's Purse (Learn More). Please arrive at Crosspoint Church (1134 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, TX 77581) either at 7:30 am or 12:30 pm for orientation.  We will pair you with an experienced team leader to go out to work.
